All teen volunteer opportunities will begin in September 2022.

Teen Advisory Boards (TAB)!
Want to help make the library a better place for teens? Do you have cool ideas for library programs?

TAB teens work to make change happen in our library and our community. You can share your ideas, help us plan events, and eat snacks, all while earning community service hours.

Become a Teen Tech at the Library!
Are you a technology guru?
Want to share your knowledge with the community?

Teen Techs are high school students who work one-on-one with not-so tech-savvy adults, helping them with their personal devices, social media, library apps (like Libby and Hoopla), and other tech-related topics.

Apply for our Teen Team!
Are you a junior or senior looking to earn community service hours? Do you enjoy being in the library?

Our Teen Team gives 11th and 12th graders the opportunity to contribute to library-wide projects, facilitate teen programs, and gain leadership experience in exchange for community service hours. Our goal is to provide resume-building experiences that will benefit teens now and in the future.

Volunteer from anywhere!
Want more ways to volunteer? Our virtual volunteer opportunities can be completed at the library, from home, on the bus, or from anywhere else you choose.

Each month you'll have the opportunity to complete a variety of activities in exchange for community service hours.

Did you know?

Volunteers can request letters of recommendation from our Teen Librarian.

These letters can be attached to college applications and resumes.

Why volunteer at the library?

Exciting change is happening for teens at the North Haven Memorial Library and we'd love for you to be part of it!

As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our growing Teen Department, our library, and our entire community, all while earning the volunteer hours you may need for school or a different organization.
