Pre-K / Elementary School Outreach Visits

  • Your students will:

    • Learn about new and interesting titles

    • Learn how to search for books they actually want to read

    • Learn about the different apps/formats for reading and listening

    • This program can include a catalog demo, as well as a book-tasting activity and reminder handout.

  • Your students will:

    • Learn the basics of their public library and its offerings (a.k.a. we’re more than just books!)

    • Learn where the library is and why you should go

    • Learn about all of the awesome stuff they can do/get (for free) with their library card

    • ​This program can include a fun trivia or jeopardy-style game!

  • Arrange an in-person or virtual visit for staff to read to your students. Choose between books that are grade-level, themed, or based on a specific class project or subject.
