Returns & Grab & Go Pickups

HOW IT WORKS:

For the Contactless Grab & Go Service:

  • Call the library  at least 15 minutes before your planned arrival

  • IF YOUR ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE HOLD SHELF, we will check them out to you, bag them, and place them on the pickup rack in the vestibule within approximately 15 minutes.

    • Please note that the library pulls holds each morning for items located in the North Haven library.

    • Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for staff to pull holds.

  • Grab & Go service ends 15 minutes before closing.

PLEASE NOTE for Grab & Gos:

  • Some holds are filled by other libraries within the LION consortium and may not be available right away.

  • To ensure that you will have items to pick up, please wait for notification from the North Haven library that your items are available.

  • After you receive notification that your holds are available, you still need to call the library before coming to pick up your holds.

    • This will allow the staff to confirm your hold and time to prepare your items for pickup (during open hours).

For Inside Returns and Book Drops:

  • Returned items are no longer being quarantined

  • You now may return items to the inside book drops anytime during open hours

  • The outside book drops are OPEN 24/7

GRAB & GO/RETURN HOURS are the same as OPEN HOURS:

Monday - Thursday
10:00 am -  8:00 pm

Friday & Saturday
10:00 am - 5:00 pm
