Khan Academy is a free academic resource that partners with CollegeBoard to offer comprehensive test prep for high school students. This includes personalized practice plans, full-length practice tests, and test-taking tips/strategies.

With Khan Academy, you can practice and find lessons for the upcoming SAT, LSAT, Praxis Core subject exams, MCAT, and CollegeBoard's new digital SAT.

JobNow SkillSurfer

Teen Homeschool Hangouts

Our Teen Department holds monthly hangouts for homeschooled teens in North Haven and it's surrounding towns. Join us for a fun morning of crafts, games, music, and more. Register for each hangout in our event calendar. These hangouts are open to grades 6-12.

Connecticut Homeschool Groups

The Homeschool Mom's "Connecticut Homeschool Groups" webpage features over ten different state organizations and local homeschool groups. These groups are organized alphabetically by city and visitors are encouraged to submit local resources to be added to the page.

Facebook Groups

Local, state, and nation-wide homeschool groups often create Facebook groups to share resources, ask questions, and connect homeschooling families. Browse hundreds of homeschool-related groups to find one that's right for you.

HSLDA is a nonprofit organization created to defend the rights of homeschooling families. The website features homeschooling laws by state, resources for teaching parents, relevant blog posts/news articles, a support group search feature, and more.
