2023 Teen Winter Reading Challenge

We challenge YOU to read at least 20 minutes each day
from January 17th through February 28th.

Are you up for the challenge?! Follow the steps below:
 
  1. Download the Beanstack Tracker app from your favorite app store or visit our Beanstack site at northhavenlibrary.beanstack.org.
  2. Create a new account or sign into an existing one.
  3. Join the 2023 Teen Winter Reading Challenge! 
  4. Log the time you spend reading and unlock badges along the way. Prizes will be awarded when you reach certain reading milestones.
  5. Have fun!
Your goal is to read 840 minutes by the end of the challenge. You've got this! 
A special prize will go out to our top reader.

Who can participate?
 
Students in grades 6-12 who are:

  • Residents of North Haven  
  • Children of Town of North Haven employees          
  • Grandchildren of North Haven residents
  • Non- Resident North Haven public school students

Can I log the reading I do for school?

Absolutely! All reading counts, even if it's from a textbook or assigned in class.

How do I know if I've won a prize?

Each time you unlock a badge, it will tell you if you've also won a prize. Check your badges!


Where do I pick up my prizes?

Visit the Information Desk at the library on the 1st Floor to choose a prize from our prize box/cart.
