Documenting Your North Haven COVID-19 Story

Many years from now, historians will rely on newspaper accounts, government press briefings, institutional announcements and an array of statistics in an effort to piece together how society responded during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. But that does not include the most critical part of the equation: YOU!

Stories of everyday life are particularly hard to collect. So the North Haven Memorial Library in collaboration with the North Haven Historical Society are asking North Haven residents and workers and to share their experiences and help us record this slice of history for future generations.

In addition to the questionnaire below, we welcome submissions of photos and screenshots/social media posts of friends, family, first responders, pharmacy, grocery or post office employees, delivery drivers, restaurant owners, everyday life during COVID-19. Please email images to covid19@northhavenlibrary.net.  Please rename any submitted image with the topic or location of the photo and date taken.
