This is a challenging time, but the library is here to provide information that you can trust.  This page contains updates about the library as well as access to reliable resources that have been checked by professional librarians for accuracy and quality of content. We look forward to seeing you in-person again in the future.

LIBRARY

UPDATE 

Updated 5/29/20

  • The LIBRARY and BOOKDROPS will remain CLOSED until further notice

  • All checked-out North Haven library materials have been RENEWED until JULY 1st

  • NO LATE FEES will accrue while the library is closed

  • Unless protocol changes, the library staff will continue to answer phones and emails, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

  • We have extended North Haven library card expiration dates by 3 months for cards recently expired or about to be expired so you can continue to access our digital resources

  • ​The library is NOT accepting book donations at this time

    • Please DO NOT LEAVE donations outside of the library

  • NEW for North Haven residents!!  Even though you can't come to the library right now, you can still get a library card to access digital content!

  • ​​MORE HOOPLA for North Haven residents!! 

    • From April 1st - June 30th, North Haven library card holders will now get 10 monthly checkouts

      • Up from 5!​​

  • Zoom programming has started for both Children and Adults. Check out our Programs page for a listing of all.​​

  • We are also in the process of developing a comprehensive library reopening plan with everyone's safety in mind.

    • There will be a staged return of library services, with each stage incorporating social distancing guidelines.
